European Union Global Gateway vs. China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)

OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of the course is to enhance the knowledge of EU’s infrastructure connectivity strategy – Global Gateway, framed in competition with China’s grand connectivity strategy of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). It is important to know how much these billion-dollar projects possessed complementing and competitive impacts on its initiators and beneficiaries. Attendees would rationalize Pakistan position in the emerging scenario, while being consecutively engage with the two giant economies and power centers.

RESOURCE PERSON:

Dr. Tasneem Sultana is Professor at the Area Study Centre for Europe, University of Karachi. She is engaged in research, teaching and supervision almost for 26 Years. She teaches Research methodology, EU’s common foreign and security policies, EU’s external relations and EU Law to M.Phil / Ph.D students.
