International Conference on “Collective Action for Climate Justice: Bridging Gaps in Governance, Finance, and Gender for a Resilient Future”

<p>On <strong>April 9, 2025</strong>, the Area Study Centre for Europe, University of Karachi in collaboration with the Transparency International Pakistan and Global Compact Network Pakistan organized a one-day conference titled, Collective Action for Climate Justice: Bridging Gaps in Governance, Finance, and Gender for a Resilient Future at the Royale Rodale Club.</p>

<p>The conference was divided into three segments.</p>

<p><!-- wp:paragraph --></p>
<p>The theme was climate change, climate governance, corporate responses, and the impact of environmental deterioration on gender.</p>

<p><!-- wp:paragraph --></p>
<p>A diverse lineup of speakers which included government and non-government officials, corporate representatives, social workers, journalists etc. dealt with the aforementioned themes.</p>

<p>Though, at times, the discussion became highly technical yet the interest of the spectators never dwindled.</p>

<p>Each session was followed by a lively interaction with the audience whose inquiries were measured and accompanied with reasonable observations.</p>
